Internal Sales Executive

This is an exceptional chance to develop your career with an industry leader. You'll be converting inbound leads, making outgoing calls, capitalising on opportunities from marketing campaigns and procured databases, as well as making general sales enquiries. You'll also work with channel managers and resellers, helping to create data lists, agreeing timescales and providing effective feedback. If you can meet a target of 60 calls and 20 contacts per day, you won't find a better place to progress.
First and foremost, you'll be a skilled telesales professional, with knowledge of relevant processes and the ability to meet targets and KPIs. As well excellent negotiation and presentation skills, you'll have five GCSEs or equivalent at grade C or above, including maths. An understanding of the IT market is desirable, but not essential.
Main duties
- Win new customers by calling on opportunities generated from specific marketing campaigns, procured databases, reseller databases and incoming evaluations
- Make 60 dials, with 20 contacts per day (to include cold calling from prospect list)
- Engage resources and people within Sophos to ensure successful relationships with end-users and channel partners, re-directing existing customers to the relevant sales team
- Accurately update in-house database information
- Support other sales teams on specific campaigns and ensure that accurate and complete information is passed to the appropriate account manager on time
- Manage own workload to deliver against daily KPIs and metrics
- Conduct both specific and general awareness campaigns to promote Sophos products within targeted markets, as directed by UK SME Manager, Marketing or channel partners
- Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of both Sophos and competitor products and services
Experience and skills
Essential:
- Experience of working as a telesales person
- Knowledge of sales processes
- Experience of developing mutually beneficial relationships
- Experience of working to specific targets and KPIs
- Five GCSEs or equivalent at grade C or above, including maths
Desirable:
- Understanding of the IT market
- Experience of developing and monitoring business and account plans
- Experience of selling high-volume business
- Recognised formal sales training, marketing or business qualification
