Marketing Specialist
Role
As a Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for guiding, and executing as required, all launch activities for products and marketing campaigns; creation and/or refinement of sales tools, channel tools and material, and prospect/customer material including white papers, presentations, web and webcast content, email content. In this exciting role you will be the link between global campaign/product marketing activity and the regional marketing, sales, and channel teams.
This position is based at our US office in Burlington, Massachusetts.
Main duties
- Proactively work with regional team to define successful product launch and campaign initiatives to help drive revenue success in the region
- Build, execute and track product launch and campaign activities focused on target account/prospect acquisition, customer expansion, and partner enablement. Maintain schedules for North America activity and communicate among teams and to Director, North America Marketing regarding status of activity
- Develop segment expertise for a vertical markets targeted by the region/corporation
- Coordinate weekly and monthly communication of all marketing activities to all internal staff in North America
- Perform and manage projects as required by the North America Marketing organization
- Identify process improvement within marketing activities
- Support generation of Thought Leadership topics and development of content for webcasts, whitepapers, etc.
- Provide industry and product positioning insight into the topic development process
Experience and skills
- 5-7 years of experience in marketing campaign management, project management, lead generation, and/or program/campaign development
- Enterprise IT; security and/or networking software exposure; B2B marketing knowledge
- Proven experience working with sales teams and supporting programs to drive opportunities and revenue
