Sophos

Sophos global headquarters

Sophos's global headquarters are based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, UK, inside a purpose-built £32 million facility.

The building, which was officially opened by Her Majesty the Queen in February 2004, covers a total area of 145,000 sq ft, is three storeys high and is finished externally in glass, steel, aluminium and brick.

The building can house 600 employees, and provides extensive visitor and training facilities for Sophos and its customers. Other facilities include a roof garden and south facing staff restaurant overlooking wild landscaping and a lake.

The high-security headquarters, designed by Bennetts Associates, combines environmental best practice with the requirements of a highly-serviced, IT-intensive building.

Previous buildings designed by Bennetts Associates include prestigious award-winning headquarters for British Telecom, John Menzies and PowerGen.
