Sophos PureMessage for UNIX receives ICSA certification Solution recognized for achieving rigorous anti-virus gateway certification
Sophos has announced that its gateway product, Sophos PureMessage for Unix, has received certification from ICSA Labs for its ability to detect in-the-wild virus threats.
Sophos PureMessage for UNIX was tested against all known in-the-wild viruses and detected them all with ease. This provides further confirmation of Sophos's ability to protect corporations from the viruses, spyware, worms and Trojans that threaten their systems.
Future versions and updates of Sophos PureMessage for UNIX retain certification as long they continue to meeting certification manintenace requirements of ICSA Labs' test facilities.
ICSA Labs, a division of Cybertrust, is an independent reviewing body only awarding certification to those security products able to perform outstandingly under test conditions.
