In November 2007, all Sophos Security Suite customers were automatically upgraded to the latest version.
Benefits of Sophos Security Suite 2.5 include:
- Integrated adware and potentially unwanted application (PUA) protection from Sophos Anti-Virus
- Sophos Client Firewall support for Vista to stop zero-day threats and prevent intrusion attacks from hackers
- Centralized cleanup and threat summary dashboard with Sophos Control Center, version 2.0
- Improved policy configuration, intuitive console with dashboard view, Exchange 2007 and 64-bit server support, and Active Directory integration in PureMessage for Microsoft Exchange, version 3.0*
- Enhanced protection for Mac OS X 10.2 and higher
The installation requested a reboot, and you should have done this in order to take advantage of the protection in this latest version.
