Sophos Anti-Virus for Mac OS 8 or OS 9: running monthly updates automatically over a network

This product is nearing retirement. We strongly recommend that you upgrade in order to ensure your protection stays fully up to date.

The 'Central Updates' preferences on the Macintosh OS 8 or 9 workstation can be set up automatically if Sophos Anti-Virus for Mac OS 8 or 9 was installed from a central installation on a server.

When the Central Installation Directory (CID) is updated with the latest version of Sophos Anti-Virus, the workstations which installed Sophos Anti-Virus from that CID will be updated.

Note: A volume containing the central installation folder must be mapped to the workstation's desktop for automatic updating to occur.
