Sophos Anti-Virus for Mac OS 8 or OS 9: mounting a network volume on the desktop to send central virus reports
This product is nearing retirement. We strongly recommend that you upgrade in order to ensure your protection stays fully up to date.
You need to have a network volume mounted on your desktop to notify an InterCheck Server when you have discovered a virus.
What to do
To use central reporting (an InterCheck server), a network volume must be mounted on your desktop that allows Sophos Comms folder via the Virus Notification/Central Notification preferences.
