Sophos credentials: usernames and passwords for Sophos customers
All Sophos customers will have a username and password with which they can download our products.
Please ensure that you have your username and password available if you contact Sophos Technical Support. If you cannot locate your username and password, email customerservice@sophos.com with details of your account.
- If you are not a Sophos customer, visit our product pages to download evaluation versions of our software. You will be granted temporary access to the software for evaluation purposes.
Enterprise products
You have been provided with two sets of credentials on your Sophos License Schedule.
- Use the first set (Download Username and Download Password) to log in to password-secured areas of the Sophos website. You can use them to download files from that area.
- The second set are described on the license schedule as 'EM Update Credentials'. Only use these credentials when you need to enter credentials into Sophos software, for example, when you are prompted to do so by the installation wizard or when you are configuring updates.(Previously known as 'EM Download' credentials.)
Small Business products
- When you purchased your Sophos software, you will have received an email and a License Schedule, each of which contains the same set of credentials. This username and password may be used whenever you need your Sophos credentials.
PureMessage for Microsoft Exchange
As per details above, you have been provided with either one or two sets of credentials on your Sophos License Schedule.
- On PureMessage servers managed by Enterprise Console:
- Set the 'Primary server' to the normal location for downloading anti-virus updates, with credentials as you have specified in your Updating Policy
- Set the 'Secondary server' to Sophos, and use the 'Download' credentials to obtain anti-spam updates
- For standalone PureMessage servers, set the 'Primary server' to Sophos, and use the 'Download' credentials for both anti-virus and anti-spam updates
- Use the 'Download' credentials to download latest versions for upgrading
Small Business customers should use the single set of credentials to obtain both anti-virus and anti-spam updates
