What to do
There is a list of filename extensions on the NetApp filer as well as on the anti-virus server.
1. Checking file types
To see which file types are sent to the anti-virus server for scanning, at the command prompt on the filer, typevscan extensions
2. Adding extensions to the list
To add an extension to this list, typevscan extension add <extension>where <extension> is the extension you want to add.
For examplevscan extension add htawill instruct the filer to send .hta files for scanning as well as all file types in the default list. The wildcard ? can be used to match any single character. (You cannot use the * wildcard.)
