What to do
In order to receive a more informative message when a virus is encountered,
- the vscan option client_msgbox must be enabled on the filer (see your ONTAP documentation for instructions on how to do this)
- the Messenger service must be running on the workstation.
When this has been done, messages on the workstation should take the form
"Messenger Service
Message from <filer name> to <workstation> on <date and time>
Virus warning, filer <filer name>: access of file <path> in share <sharename> got status 0xc000022 from the vs"
