EM Library: failure to update a locked CID

EM Library can fail to update a Central Installation Directory (CID) if that CID is locked by computers that are attempting to update themselves. An Information message is generated on the first two failed attempts.

If the problem occurs three times in succession, an error message is generated. For example:

Failed attempt to lock the CID for writing. INDEX 0x80040a02

What to do

In most circumstances, you can clear the problem by removing and then reapplying the share on the CID.
