Sophos PureMessage SBE: features in version 2.5.1
Sophos PureMessage Small Business Edition (SBE), version 2.5.1, incorporates a number of enhancements.
This release of Sophos PureMessage SBE, version 2.5.1, delivers all the features to be included in our forthcoming release of our enterprise solution, PureMessage for Windows/Exchange, version 2.5.1. Therefore, we are taking this opportunity to align the version numbering of both the small business and enterprise products.
Enhancements in version 2.5.1
Improved content filtering
Content filtering policy can be applied to both email body text and to email attachments, including archived attachments. This provides more powerful and flexible email management, and control over message and attachment contents.
Greater control over spam flow within Outlook
The spam score for each email can be optionally added to the email subject line or as an X-Header. This enables you to apply rules to the email based upon the spam score. For example, emails with a spam score within a specified range can be put into a selected Outlook folder.
Consistent application of email disclaimers
TNEF is the messaging format used by Microsoft Exchange and Outlook. With Sophos PureMessage for SBE, version 2.5.1, you can now add a disclaimer to TNEF formatted emails.
