Advisory: Maintenance release of PureMessage for Windows/Exchange
This release fixes the known issue related to the delivery of internal TNEF mail that existed in Sophos PureMessage for Windows/Exchange version 2.5.
If you are running Sophos PureMessage Small Business Edition, version 2.5.1, do not attempt to use this maintenance release software as you already have version 2.5.1 installed. If you are running Sophos PureMessage Small Business Edition, version 1.0.1 or 1.0.2 refer to the knowledgebase article for details of how to upgrade to the latest version. Check which version you currently have installed before attempting any upgrade.
What to do
- Download the new version of Sophos PureMessage for Windows/Exchange from the Sophos website. You will need the download credentials (username and password) that you use to access the Sophos website.
- Follow the same instructions for installing the program as given in the knowledgebase article How to upgrade to version 2.5.
Your copy of Sophos PureMessage for Windows/Exchange will be upgraded and your previous settings kept.
