Anti-Virus for Mac OS X, version 4.7 supports the new Intel-powered Macs, which currently include the iMac, the MacBook laptop and Mac Mini. - This new version of Sophos
Anti-Virus supports both PowerPC and Intel-based Macs, including the iMac, MacBook, and Mac Mini. If you have mixture of new and old Macs you will not need to use multiple versions of SophosAnti-Virus .
Exclusion handling
This allows the administrator to exclude certain files from being scanned, allowing you to improve performance by customizing your on-access scanner. Customers who wish to centrally configure Mac exclusions can still use the Mac configuration tool, Sophos Update Manager, that is already included in Sophos
