EM Library: stopping the 'Sophos Enterprise Manager Scheduler' service fails
If you try to stop the 'Sophos Enterprise Manager Scheduler' service (the EM Library scheduler) in the 'Services' tool, an error message may be displayed.
Windows NT
On a Windows NT backup domain controller (BDC), if you try to stop the 'Sophos Enterprise Manager Scheduler' service (the EM Library scheduler) in the 'Services' tool, the following services error message may be displayed:
Could not stop the Sophos Enterprise Manager Scheduler service on \\ComputerName.
Error 2140: An internal Windows NT error occurred.
This is an intermittent problem caused by the service being busy.
Windows XP
On Windows XP, if you try to stop the 'Sophos Enterprise Manager Scheduler' service (the EM Library scheduler) in the 'Services' tool, the following services error message may be displayed:
Could not stop the Sophos Enterprise Manager Scheduler service on Local Computer.
The service did not return an error. This could be an internal Windows error or an internal service error.
If the problem persists, contact your system administrator.
This is an intermittent problem caused by the service being busy.

Try again a few minutes later.
