Sophos Anti-Virus for Windows 2000+: installing using '-scf' from a location without firewall sofware fails

If you attempt to install Sophos Anti-Virus for Windows 2000+ at a command prompt using the '-scf' command line parameter from a location where the Sophos Client Firewall package is not available, the installation on the computer will fail part way through.

The -scf command line parameter installs both Sophos Anti-Virus and Sophos Client Firewall. If the firewall package is absent, -scf will configure Sophos AutoUpdate to install and update the firewall software. However, the installation will fail at the point at which the firewall software is supposed to be downloaded and installed.

What to do

Reinstall without the '-scf' command line parameter.
