Advisory: Microsoft Windows security updates for May 2006
Microsoft has released two new critical security updates for May 2006, covering Remote Code Execution vulnerabilities.
- the Microsoft Exchange vulnerability described in MS06-019 can affect several versions of Microsoft Exchange 2000 and 2003
- the Macromedia Flash Player vulnerability described in MS06-020 could allow Remote Code Execution in Windows XP, and on Windows 98/Me computers running Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1.
In addition, Microsoft have released one moderate update, MS06-018, which covers a Denial of Service vulnerability.
