EM Library: error when installing or upgrading Sophos small business solutions
Issue
When re-installing or upgrading Sophos small business solutions, the following error is displayed and you cannot continue with the installation:
Setup has detected a version of Sophos EM Library Installed, please uninstall this and run setup again.
In the Application event log, you may find this entry:
Description: Product: Sophos Anti-Virus Small Business Edtion -- Installation operation failed Source: MsiInstaller Event ID: 11708
What to do
- Go to Add/Remove programs and remove EM Library.
- Re-run the installation of the Sophos small business solutions software
