Advisory: Microsoft Windows security updates for August 2006
Microsoft has released nine critical updates for August 2006, covering Remote Code Execution vulnerabilities. The updates include a Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer

- vulnerability in Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications MS06-047
- vulnerabilities in Microsoft Office MS06-048
- vulnerability in Windows Kernel MS06-051
Updates for three important vulnerabilities are also present.
