Sophos Anti-Rootkit: displays an error when run in Safe mode
The following error message is displayed when you attempt to run the Sophos Anti-Rootkit in Windows Safe mode:
Error: Could not initialize kernel driver memsweep.sys. Please restart and try again.
This service cannot be started in Safe Mode.
What to do
Sophos Anti-Rootkit will not run in Windows Safe mode. This applies to both the graphical user interface (GUI) version and the command line version of Sophos Anti-Rootkit.
You must restart your computer in normal mode, and then run Sophos Anti-Rootkit.
