Sophos Anti-Virus for Windows 2000+: configuring Macintosh files in 'Advanced options' overridden by Scanning tab settings
If the scan settings for Macintosh files in the Sophos Anti-Virus for Windows 2000+ 'Advanced options' are changed, those changes are overridden by the current settings in the Scanning tab.
Knowledgebase article 22813 describes a similar issue with Application Control settings.
What to do
- You should set the scanning of Macintosh files in the Scanning tab.
- Do not use the Advanced options unless advised to do so by Sophos technical support.
