Advisory: Sophos Anti-Virus for Windows - retirement of version 4.1x
Sophos Anti-Virus for Windows NT/2000/XP/2003, version 4.15, and Sophos Anti-Virus for Windows 95/98/Me, version 4.15, will include end of life messages for customers. Support for these products will end on 28 February 2007.
- A message will be displayed in the Sophos Anti-Virus user interface:
Sophos has replaced this product. This version is no longer supported. Ask your IT Manager to visit www.sophos.com/sav4upgrade for details of how to upgrade
- There will also be a pop-up message:
Sophos has replaced this product. This version is no longer supported. In order to ensure that you are protected against the latest threats, you should upgrade as soon as possible.
What to do
You must upgrade to the latest versions of Sophos products.
