Sophos Anti-Virus for Windows 2000+ - when upgrading to version 7.0.4, a reboot is requested
Sophos Anti-Virus for Windows 2000+, version 7.0.4, has been released.
Computers will request a reboot when updated to this version. A 'Restart required' dialog box will open, displaying the following message:

Enterprise Console will display the following error message against each computer that has been updated, but not rebooted, until the reboot has taken place:
Error 0000006d Restart needed for update to take effect
Note:
- This reboot is a requirement of the Windows operating system.
- You do not need to reboot immediately after installing the update. Your existing version of Sophos
Anti-Virus will be updated with the latest virus identity files (IDEs). - If you do not want your users to see this message, you can suppress it.
