Advisory: Enterprise Console error e03d0231 displayed
Enterprise Console, version 3.0 reports the following error on computers running Sophos Anti-Virus, version 7. The error is also displayed in the event log.
Error code: e03d0231
Message: Communication error between on-access driver and service for a [...].There are three variations of this error message. Any of the following may be seen:
- 528 - Communication error between on-access driver and service for a registry key access.
- 529 - Communication error between on-access driver and service for a registry value access.
- 561 - Communication error between on-access driver and service for a file modification.
A fix for this issue has been released in hipsrules-1-0-4.bdl which will be downloaded with the next Sophos Anti-Virus data update.
