Enterprise Console: displays error 'Interface not registered'

Issue
When you try to open or edit a policy, an error is displayed:

'A component...... has failed' error, with the message:

Interface not registered

Sophos product and version
Sophos Control Center, versions 1.0 and 2.0
Enterprise Console, versions 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0

Operating system
All Supported Platforms

What to do

  1. Click Start|Run.
  2. Type in the following command:
    Regsvr32 ole32.dll
  3. Click OK
  4. Re-open the Console and you should now be able to edit the policy.
