Sophos NAC Advanced: Web Agent auto registers when Basic Auto Registersetting is not turned on when a registration is deleted
This article provides information about how the Web Agent may automatcially register when the Basic Auto Register setting is turned off. This happens only when a registration is deleted. By default, this setting is turned on.
What to do
When the Basic Auto Register setting is turned on, registration is automatically attempted if the user input credentials into the Registration or Credentials dialog boxes. When a user's registration is deleted, the Web Agent will continue to automatically register the user rather than prompting the user for a password. To obtain a dialog box that requests a password, you must type a different username. This action displays the appropriate dialog box so that the user can type the correct username and corresponding password.
