Advisory: Sophos Anti-Virus for Windows 2000+, version 6 is being automatically updated to version 7

Commencing 12 November 2007 the 'latest' package for Sophos Anti-Virus for Windows 2000+ version 6.x will be automatically upgraded to Sophos Anti-Virus for Windows 2000+, version 7.x. Sophos Anti-Virus for Windows 2000+, version 6, will shortly be retired.

A reboot will be required for the update to take effect. However, your Sophos protection will not be affected if you delay restarting your computers.

If you are running Enterprise Console version 2.0,  will need to upgrade to Enterprise Console version 3.0 in order to take full advantage of the new functionality.
