EM Library: clearing the CID and DAT cache
Issue
Problems with installation of msi packages from a Sophos Central Installation Directory (CID), following 'run a repair' or uninstall/reinstall of the msi from the central installation.

What to do
- On the computer running EM Library delete the contents of the following folders,
C:\Program Files\Sophos Enterprise Manager\Library\Files
C:\Program Files\Sophos Sweep for NT\ESXP (for example) - Rename the folder C
:\Program Files\Sophos\Autoupdate\CachetoC:\Program Files\Sophos\Autoupdate\OldCache - Open Sophos EM Library, click EM Library under Console Root, click 'Download Packages'.
This will download the dat files from the databank to C:\Program Files\Sophos Enterprise Manager\Library\Files. - Once the dat files have been downloaded, you need to repopulate the central installation directory.
To do this click 'Central Installations', right-click the required central installation directory, selecting 'Update CID (Checksum all files)'.
This will force an update to the clients at the next scheduled update interval.
