Sophos NAC Advanced: NAC Agent is unable to assess the policy and computer is in quarantine

This article describes what to do when the NAC Agent is unable to assess policy and log files indicate that an exception is being thrown because the patch assessment is not returning an appropriate pointer to the patch output XML file.

What to do

The XMLDOM is corrupt on the computer so it needs to be re-registered.

2. Right-click the Agent icon from the computer's system tray and select Check Compliance. The NAC Agent should be able to assess policy.
