Sophos NAC Advanced: NAC report information does not purge report data when no default policy is created, users are not defined in any group, the group is not assigned to a policy, or the Agent fails to communicate with the NAC server after its initial installation.
NAC report information does not purge report data when no default policy is created, users are not defined in any group, the group is not assigned to a policy, or the Agent fails to communicate with the NAC server after its initial installation. There is no workaround once this occurs and there will be a SQL error in the Event Log.
What to do prior to distributing the NAC Agent
- Verify that all users are in the appropriate group prior to distributing the NAC Agent to computers.
- Verify that all groups are assigned to a policy prior to distributing the NAC Agent to computers.
- Create a default policy in the NAC Web interface.
