Advisory: Sophos Anti-Virus for Windows 2000+, the update to version 7.5 may require a reboot
Sophos Anti-Virus for Windows 2000+, version 7.5 will be released in June 2008.
It will be an automatic update for Endpoint Security and Control customers, and will include new device control functionality.
- If you subscribe to the Endpoint Security and Control package, you will need to reboot your computers and servers.
- If you subscribe to the Sophos Anti-Virus only package, or if you have standalone computers, your version of Sophos Anti-Virus will remain at version 7.3.x until updated to version 7.6.0 later in 2008. You will not need to reboot your computers until you receive this update.
