Cisco ISE is an Identity Services Engine that facilitates secure access to networks and applications. It can be used to manage wired, wireless, and remote access connections. It centralizes the management of users’ identities, authentication, and policy enforcement, ensuring that only authorized users and devices can access network resources.

Sophos MDR and Sophos XDR customers using Cisco ISE can strengthen their defenses against advanced threats. The integration sends sends authentication and authorization data from Cisco ISE to the Sophos Central platform, which is then filtered, cleaned, correlated, and in some cases, escalated for investigation by analysts.
